Head outdoors with nature Guides
If you do not want to travel alone and would like to explore the great outdoors with an experienced companion, we recommend booking a Carinthia Nature Guide. They ensure you travel safely across the terrain, are experts in Carinthia’s unique nature and are well versed in the Alpe-Adria region – including in respect to accessibility. With your guide, you can get to know the area and its people in a fun way! A 9-seat wheelchair-accessible bus is available for excursions with the tour guides. Wheelchair-friendly excursions in winter
Winter sports fans are in luck – Villach has many great activities to enjoy in winter. Ski resorts are well-equipped for your needs. Some sports associations and ski schools are even dedicated to disabled sports. The Villach branch of the Carinthian Disabled Sports Association are happy to organise ski lessons for non-members.
