Venice in a day – sightseeing, shopping, gondola rides

Upon your arrival in Venice, simply drift around the city - gondolas stand at the ready for a tour on the water. Or discover the lagoon city by foot and stroll through narrow streets and over small bridges. If your feet become tired, just have a seat at one of the many outdoor cafes and enjoy the Italian atmosphere with a cappuccino. If you would like to get a bird’s eye view of Venice, go to Piazza San Marco before noon and go up the bell tower that looms 60 metres above Venice. In the afternoon you will often have to stand in a long queue for this experience.

After all the sightseeing and souvenirs that you collect in Venice on your day trip, you can sit comfortably in a coach bus and have a resting snooze until you get back to Villach and your charming holiday home in Carinthia, Hotel EduCARE.
